Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>The parcels in the City of Alexandria have Tax Map # and an address associated with each specific parcel. The Tax Map # such as 054.02-03-05 let you know what tax map is the parcel on – in this case – the parcel is on Tax Map # 054.02, then the Block # - in this case – it is in Block 03, then the parcel # - in this case the parcel is 05. In the attributes table this field is called PID. A status attributes field lets you know if this is a legal parcel or an administrative parcel. The tracking field is used for internal tracking of the parcel changes. The instrument # attributes field gives the instrument # that was recorded at the Courthouse in the City of Alexandria. The plat attribute field gives the subdivision plat # that is an internal control # that helps in finding the plat of subdivision. This is important for research purposed and development analysis by City staff and for informational purposes to the public. </SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
